Also bear in mind BC2V has over 2800 servers active and only 800 consistently have a player base. Those numbers are pretty nasty - guess it wasn't as successful as they hoped...

Why the Nam numbers....I believe the majority of BC2 players feel handicapped without their scope.

Give me extra rounds or grandes or c4 or rockets or super duper medic speed any day over a scope.

That's where I was saying it's more of a "ported game to a different era". They didn't make it Vietnam-like. It's BC2 with Nam scenery and SOME weapons. The maps simply don't play to the tactics and style of warfare that Vietnam was known for. They missed out HUGE on the weapon types as well.

So..no wonder numbers are dismal, people don't want to buy the same shit they already have.

I am sorry but I have to disagree with you Kontank3rous. I played the old BF VN game ( why I play BF games). I feel they hit it on the dot. Have you played all the maps or shoot all the guns or fly the hellos. Well I feel they did a great job. shoot you later evilblackjack

Game get's old fast really unless you play with someone fun. The admin thing on it sucks horribly and it takes like freaking 4 minutes to ban someone but at least it has VAC and dedicated servers. In all I don't think it's worth it. It's a pain and not Team Player Based really at all. Even with the dedicated servers and stuff I think it's down there with MW2. All it really is, is MW2 with new skins, levels, , a few less noob things, and it has dedicated servers, but I really think CoD has just gone wayyyyy down hill to console porting after CoD 4. Sadly. I guess if we did have a bunch of TPG players we could turn it into a Team Playing game but it only has 12 players as well and owning a server is a pain like I said before. The only reason I even play it now is to keep my brothers server populated but It's such a pain to get primed and is sooo boring. Search and Destroy is pretty fun but everyone I swear who plays it only plays Team Death Match. It has no objective and is so boring. I don't even know why people like TDM so much when S$D is the only fun mode. Okay I am going on about stupid stuff now I must end this post.

I realy thought we were talking about VN, and do not say any thing about a game if you have not played it. If some one said jumping off a bridge dose not hurt would you tell some else the same if you had not done it your self. shoot you later evilblackjack
