TPG Viet Nam Server?

We have tons of people that play it, the regular server has been going strong since its rebirth, and I feel we should strike while the iron is hot. I know it is an admin decision, but I don't have access to those talks, so thoughts?

I'm worried about another CoD4 fiasco, where everyone jumps over to the hot new thing and forgets about the main server, and both servers die as a result.

I'll buy the game when, and only when, VOIP is fully functional. No more money for broken games.

vi, I tell you what, having TS within our community is awesome. Sure, you wont be able to talk to the randoms all the time, but its nice getting on with a bunch of TPGers anyway....and the script we have that auto switches and everything is great, no worry, just sign on, and play

It's being discussed. While there may be TPGers who play Vietnam, globally, there's like 2800 servers and only 800 or so actually having any players. The numbers don't necessarily add up.

That's nice, I just installed BC2 again. So I just join a squad and it moves me? Do I need a specific name or does it do it by IP?

Edit: nvm found the sticky. Forget that tap doesn't show stickies until I choose to look at them.

Yes. It moves by IP (mostly). Working flawlessly with the new revision of the plug-in from Imis.

I am willing to bet money it is a short term fad, unless there are new maps and such coming, but I figure if we pick up a few team players, regs, admins, etc while the fad is hot then it is probably worth it, right? I mean once all those Nam servers die out most of the people playing it will either go back to vanilla BC2, or move to the next new thing, which hopefully we are also hosting. IMO better to try and fail, even though it is probably the game failing not us, than never try at all.
