Shame the HC mode wont allow 3D spotting for UAV's like in normal mode... Just becomes a lightweight chopper on HC mode...

Oh incase you guys didnt know, equipping the UAV with smoke is awesome for cover since it fires 3 smokes at a time....

I personally hate 3D spotting. It's like a built in cheat. You know a general direction of a sniper, but don't know exactly where. Just start spamming Q and a little triangle comes up over them. BANG! Dead. Sure it's an equalizer for excessive sniping, but it renders a skilled sniper useless as well. If they were to fix it so that you have to visually SEE them and not look in their general direction, it'd be a different story. I blame the consoles.

Isn't the NetBat system from 2142 a form of 3D spotting?

Netbat is a form of 3D spotting, but... it's WAY easier to exploit in BC2. You can be hundreds of meters out... out of visual range and just spam Q along the horizon and spot stuff.

And BF2142 maps were small in comparison to BF2....... Again the balance between playability on console and PC is the clincher...... "Fear"
