Re: Battlefield 3 Unveiiling !!!
Don't really care for destroyable environment or better graffics... they dumbed BF2 down from BF1942 by not allowing the carriers or adding other capital ships to roam around. Yea it's modern combat with unmovable ships..Wake2007 what a joke compared to the original. Where you have to cap a flag with a ship and you die if you're in the water too long coz your ship got torpedoed by a sub.
Imagine squads to man a cruiser or battleship engaging other ships or pirates and storming it like Iron Gator but you gotta chase the carrier in a map without red zones. Add Paladins (mobile Artillery) or mobile LRM's and submarines too.
All I really want is just more maps...no need for a BF3 if they don't have mobile ships. Just don't have a fucktard ground the ship like in 1942...BF1942 good times!

Not going to hold out much hope until I see a reason to. It seems anymore companies would rather make run-and-gun game for the console with a shit PC port, then an actual great PC FPS (outside of valve). Granted that partially because less people will buy a detailed, great PC FPS. But 10 million will buy the 2011 (2012 or 2013 etc) version of Call of Duty, or other run-and-gun mediocre trash.

Re: Battlefield 3 Unveiiling !!!
I started playing the BF series with BF2. It forced me to upgrade my GPU and CPU (it literally would not let you launch without a Geforce 6600 or equivalent, I had an AMD Athlon XP 2200+ with a Geforce 3 and a gig of RAM) So I just built a whole new rig. It was well worth the upgrade.
If BF3 is designed to run only on a very modern computer (say the past year or two from release date) it might just work.
Imagine a game with at least BF2's broad array of toys and options, but with BC2's destructibility, eye candy, and empty buildings you can storm and use for cover.
That's what I am thinking...
But of course it will have bugs up the wazoo for at least 2 years.
