My complaint about TPGers in BC2
It is the most frustrating thing I see TPGers do. And believe me, I rarely see it on other servers...
Guys, when you take a point, SWEEP AND CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's why TPGers have a hard time holding points. As soon as the flag is taken, everyone moves out. STOP! CHECK THE BUILDINGS! You'd be surprised how many times I'm still at the point my team just took trying to clear out a squad of guys and no one is around to back me up. Literally, everyone takes off in a bee line as soon as the point is taken. Hell, a lot of times the point itself isn't clear and the other team starts taking it as soon as you're out of range! That is pathetic!
Also, watch how fast you are taking a point and check your map. If it isn't moving as fast as it should, enemy is around still. If someone calls out that "They are in our base". Don't blow it off. Trust me, clear them out and set up a front. If they can't pass you, you can easily march up and win the round.
And FFS, if you are going to snipe, USE YOUR MORTAR ON TANKS! Also, move around, scan the area. And stick and move. If you stay still as a sniper, I WILL FIND YOU AND I WILL KNIFE YOU!

Trust me it' happens on all the servers I've played on and yes it drives me crazy as well. As for the snipers that's one of the reasons why I don't like HC they can't use motion sensor it's like having scan and uav disabled in BF2. BC2 is much simpler to play than BF2 but you wouldn't know it ( as to what you've pointed out).

Yes but there is something very satisfying about locking an entire team in their uncap .
The key I believe is to have a good setup. Mainly Left and Right sides of map need to be controlled and you work your way towards enemy uncap, as 1 big unit. Usually good to have 1-2 recon back middle to cover for any ninja's. That way you tend to funnel all the opposition into the center and you have automatic flank on them at all times. The team has to be equally divided on both left and right side, not just numbers but skill. I've seen it happen and have been part of it, when it works its pretty amazing how fast you can get a win. Hard to do though, especially 32man.
