I'm betting the graphic engine should tell us all we need on the game long before they release details about the game itself. The graphic engine now makes the game; except for audio especially VOIP.

They cannot give every infantry the ability to spawn with anti-air at will because it will break any sort of aircraft/helicopter/anti-air balance if all 32 infantry can destroy enemy aircraft on a whim.

Yeah I did say that without thinking, what I meant was it's balanced well enough, it's slightly better an adversary then BF2s AA guns.
Not to mention, the shoulder AA doesn't need to lock on to jets...just choppers. I'd be happy just to have a better chance at taking out those camping choppers that spawn kill a flag until you rage.
idk about our expert AT guys but I cant hit a circling chopper before it takes me out

You call balance the fact that every f.....g map with jets has pilots as their #1 killer ? I try to survive as a chopper pilot for more than 2 minutes and it's a nightmare but jet's ?? Those m..........r zoom around going faster than any missile ! You call that balance ?? They even have lock warning and flares !!! There is a whole chapter on the ways to evade AAA somewhere around here. And we ground pounder should cry if they give someone in my team a portable AA missiles ? I want them to be scared s....t about approching my squad !!!
One time I was in a game with two pilots battling for who could pound the most groundhuggers. Not shooting at each other of course, that would ask for reprisal. But blowing every vehicule in sight, even individual players. Yeah ! Pounding individual soldiers with an airplane that could blow up a whole block !!! Nearly 200 points EACH !! Try to do 200 points without being a commander !!
Still call that balance
Then portable SAM is Payback Time....

God I hope voice isn't an issue. It seems like something really simple to fix but it obviously isn't if you look at BC2. We shouldn't have to run 3rd party servers just to get VoIP for teamplay oriented game, especially ones like the BF series.
And I'm with kawaltd, I dislike having so many air vehicles that can easily rape a team. As long as there as efficient ways of dealing with air vehicles, I'll be happy.

Wait, so jets kill a lot of people if they aren't dealt with properly? Who knew?
They should be easy to rape a lot of people. That's what they are MADE for. Anyone with a brain in an AA will piss off a jet to no end to the point they will only focus on the AA. Rendering it useless other than to take out the AA and let our jets shoot them down because their flares are out.
