Thread: Prime Time Tonight!

Dust off your copies of 2142. We're going to try and get the 2142 server rocking TONIGHT! 8pm Central.

If you haven't already, download the 1.51 patch from EA.

What's new you ask? How about 4 new maps including a classic BF2 map remade in the 2142 universe, Strike at Karkand. Northern Strike is FREE for all now. Plus the return of Verdun in titan mode. Yes! EA finally fixed the titan mode bug.

Let's see if we can't inject a little life into the server!

Due to the eternal fuck-ups by EA. They've had to issue a NEW version of the patch. It will be released NEXT Tuesday, so let's postpone this for NEXT Friday, the 18th.

Figures after I down loaded this patch and it seemed to be working. Now I get to do it all over again. Also only about 5 servers are on the new 1.51. Was hardly anyone on so spent a few minutes playing against Al on our server till he left.

Yeah... it sucks, they announced it last week in the EA UK Forums... saying an announcement on the website was pending... but apparently there were issues with the patch and they didn't bother to update us again until they fixed them rather than putting the brakes on anyone downloading the patch.

Damn it, and I was just about to say I would be there... I will still try to make it next Friday, sounds like a good amount of fun.

I'll be on next week, then. Let's not let their mistake ruin it for us. I've waited 3 years, I can wait another week.

I just hope I can get it working since I've dowloaded the glitched 1.51 with no problems and the universe usually demands that I have problems installing new patches.

It's a fairly simple registry edit. I'll post details next week when we have the patch details.
