Mounting weapons will be cool. Hopefully they'll make the LMGs need to be mounted to be accurate. Death to Rambo.

from a support kit lover point of view, I totally agree. One of my biggest concerns about BF3 (which I shared with a lot of people) was if prone was coming back. Not having that feature would have certainly meant another game with over the top accuracy for light machine guns.

As long as the the mounting mechanic isn't complety broken, it will be awesome. Can't wait to ''spray'' the shit of my pkm on all of you

    Kill Cam

    No Mod Tools on release
(not looking good for mod tools at all)
Hopefully Kill Cams can be removed under server settings, that's console trash. Do mod tools only affect user created content like 2142's starwars mod, and BF2's Project Reality? Or do mod tools extend to server admin/moderators? 'Fraid I don't understand how BC2 is moderated, but 2142 used a third party program I believe.

If they're adding even more weapons and unlock in BF3, I hope they'll make the differences slight to make every weapon a fair choice. BC2 strikes me as only a few weapons are worth while, and earlier ones are completely replaced. Weapon accuracy needs to shoot down too, if it's anything like BC2, you can come from a full sprint to pin point accuracy with a bulky LMG or sniper rifle.

I also really hope buildings are more sturdy. I'm not really a weapons buff, but should a hand or 40mm grenade annihilate sections of a wall? I'm thinking not. And the grenade/knife buttons need to go.

That all being said. The prospect of customization is really nice, having a recon soldier looking like a person instead of a wookie, or a medic wearing a helmet. And being able to drag critically wounded soldiers is a real nice touch. It'll let non-medic players help out by dragging teammates into cover.

Really excited to see some gameplay videos of BF3.

Mod tools are for the creation of user generated content like the starwars mod, and PR.

The admin tools are a completely different ball game as far as that is concerned. Don't worry about that. There's already talk going on about that

In browsing the interview published You can add 2 things overlooked

1- Talking about jets: "And of course, there should also be a way of countering something". New way to counter Jets ? Meaning shoulder-fired AA missiles ?
2- The return of concussion effect either from explosion or covering fire............

I wouldn't be surprised about shoulder mounted AA since they had it in 2142.
