Interest in Vietnam ?

OK yes this is a little early for a vote, but I did vote. Like kraker stated, I wanted to start the Thursday night up to not ask but to show TPG (BD) if it is worth putting a TPG server. SO LETS SHOW HIM THAT WE MEAN BUSINESS AND FILL THAT TS3 UP ON THURSDAY NIGHTS. SO LETS DO THIS. VIETNAM YOU LATER EVILBLACKJACK

How much would those who have Vietnam recommend it? I've been considering getting it, but there are so many great-looking shooters coming out this year that I don't know if it's worth it (Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Homefront, Red Faction: Armageddon, etc).

Voted "would never play" although that's not entirely true. I'm a latecomer to most games, so IF TPG hosted a server, i could see my self joining some time a year from now.

If you already own BC2 its a $15 expansion if I recall correctly. In that case its worth it. The weapons feel very balanced, the maps are well made and the game plays smooth. If you like jungle warfare there are some great maps with plenty of trees, rice patties and HAMBURGER HILL is in there too.

Yeah, it's 15 bucks and if you can spare that, it's worth it even if you just go for TNRJ. And Wicked you are spouting lies, all the weapons feel balanced yes, until you try the M60, it feels like they got so many complaints in normal BC2 about it they nerfed it extra to make up for it, all the other LMG are way better at killing, I find more times I lose the confrontation while using the M60 unless I had started firing first and they took a couple seconds to notice me, when I start firing it kinda feels like I'm a TF2 Heavy spinning up for the first couple seconds. I'm even using LMG Marksmen with it because the lower recoil is more useful with how long it takes to kill than Magnum. It needs some kind of buff as it feels all the other weapons have the same or more damage per shot and fire fasted. (513 kills with M60 Vietnam)

EDIT: This isn't just me looking back at BC2 with Rose Tinted Glasses as I got that Plat soon after release but after the first nerf, I recently went back and used it in normal and I was still killing people like it was nothing with it.

My big issue with Vietnam is it's only 5 maps. DICE has basically stated there will be no further content released for BC2, including Vietnam. There's only so much one can play 5 maps. So I play in small doses.

Haven't I taught you the most important perk for medic is Magnum son? I can still own with M60 + magnum. I'm in love with the M-16 though, sounds awesome, great accuracy and nice punch.

I believe you said, Use H+ but don't use R+, Use Magnum or Accuracy +
