From the EA PWNED special, Rush mode will be in BF3. All indications from hints on Twitter are that the enhanced damage/health used for Hardcore won't be possible in BF3 either.

Team DM are you fucking serious?....what next FFA? I don't want to play Quake on BF2...didn't they try out a BF2 style quake game. Quake Territories or somesuch...played it for 1-2 weeks then it got boring.

When you think about it, it's not that bad at all, we won't have to play with lonewolves who only cares about their K/d ratio, they'll have their own game mode...
