Thanks for the offer, but TPG will pay for it. If you feel like it, buy a reserve slot and help pay the expenses. This goes for anyone who wants the vanilla server.

Whether you believe it or not I have no hard feelings toward you, and I would hope our numerous conversations would convince you of that.

My goal is simple, to advance TPG by any means necessary. If the choice is one server then you are going to piss people off either way, but as it stands rift now HC has the upper hand due to the fact that it is a known commodity. However, should we go to a 2 server setup may the strong survive. If vanilla is vastly more popular then I have no problem killing the HC server, but if they are equal or close and one has to die then kill vanilla. I hope that makes sense to everyone.

I just requested a 3 month slot. From my eagerness, I accidentally paid for slot before the request has been approved. Sorry.

The one thing that everyone should be aware of, is the "ooooo!!!! New!! SHINY!!!" effect that happens when we get a new anything. We need to keep a concerted effort to focus on the primary, to keep that rank up and not let both suffer.

My hope, and I am sure everyone else's, is that its a stunning success. But in the potentially likely event that it does not work out, everyone needs to be prepared for that. The problem that I can potentially see is that due to the "new shiny effect", people will claim that oh, vanilla is more populated than HC, it makes no sense to kill the popular one. To a degree, it makes sense, but that's looking short term. We look in the long term. It only took us, what, a month to make the 90%? What about 2 or 3 months out?

Why are you guys arguing about which server to kill first? Right now, we only have one.

This thread was supposed to gauge the interest in the possibility of another server, not a fight about which one should be killed first.

Imisnew, if I tell you to fuck off I get site banned, you tell me that and nothing happens. I based my opinion and my responses on the information I got from regs and admins, thats hardly accusations. Forums are for all opinions, that's why we have 'em. For you to respond in that form was unprofessional.

At no time did I ever imply or say I deserve special treatment. I just said I know alot of players because Im popular, so I'm not basing my opinion off of a few people.

As it sits, there are more votes for Regular mode than HC. I play both but prefer Regular mode. Will I get told to fuck off for my opinion?
