While my 570 hours, on my main soldier, is nothing compared to some of the players here I think that combined with my time spent in all of the other games makes me somewhat of an expert, especially considering how many of those 570 hours were spent within a couple feet of the ground. If you are continually letting a bunny hopper beat you then you are doing it wrong.

Like Bob said.....they can't shoot while they are in the air. Shoot them when they land, and they will have a tougher time getting a decent shot on you.
It's much easier post 1.5. Remember a year ago, when the bunny hop to belly flop double roll headshot was the thing to do?

learn to shoot moving targets. if you struggle shooting people now you wouldnt have touched this game about 2 years ago when dolphin diving was possible, or 5 years ago when you could dolphin dive AND shoot. not to mention if you dont know how the guns work well enough then what you might think are hits are actually missing the target due to the huge random deviation and missing packets, not to mention the health packs which are insta-picked up along with being able to hold the health pack. i like the arcady-ness of this game, it is what makes it great. easy to pick up and play, impossible to master. ive always though most people who played bf2 never understood how to shoot guns properly in this game.
and if you want people to stand there so you can adjust your aim accordingly, it is not going to happen. even if the game is based on war, being based on FUN is more important. war lasts years, a battle here last no more than 45 minutes and you can magically gain any sort of ammo from a small bullet filled pouch.
ps sorry for sounding like an ass

I got to the point where I could zoom in an put the cross hair on the other guys head before they even stopped to realize I was about to shoot them. Time + practice = skill.Dispatch the DooM

using single fire is very important too, i remember kelderos liked this advice. also know where the iron sights are aligned if you use them often. Updated - BF2 Sights Thread - BF2S Forums some are obvious like the MEC pistol and the MG36, others aren't so obvious but over a long range knowing where the bullet will fire straight is important.
but if someone is going to run away, let them, spot them and let them try and hide.like vis said, id rather have people not shooting at me, then there is no chance of dieing.
