    Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit and BF2 compatibility

    Hey guys, I installed my BF2 on a laptop I´ve got running with Windows 7 Ultimate. Whenever I try to run the game, it just shows the splash screen then the screen goes black as it always does when you start the game, but then it just goes back to desktop, the game won´t load.

    Any ideas on what I could do?

    Also make sure your video card drivers are up to date.

    And have the monkey pedal harder?

    Running on 7 Ultimate x64 without any problems for over 3 years! Like Dex71 have said check your drivers .

    i had this problem on my dad's laptop but running windows xp on it. Since it was same problem i am also thinking drivers. nothing to do with windows.

    I chcked for drivers...it seems they´re up to date....

    Try turning off your firewall and antivirus.......could be one of those shutting things down.
