New to BC2/ Hi & Thanks

Hi guys, I just started playing here with Team Players again. I haven't played on one of your servers since you were Texas Team Players and I tried BF2 mod Project Reality.

I have been playing BF2 for the last couple nights and having a blast. So, tonight, I saw on STEAM that BC2 was $20, so I figured I'd grab it up and give it a go, hoping it would play on my older dual core AMD X64 4200. The first and only server I've been on so far was, you got it, TeamPlayerGaming's normal server.

I have to say I had a blast. Some of the regulars let me follow them around and even talked me through the game a bit. I started my graphics out on medium, but quickly tried to max them out. I've been pleasantly surprised to see that I am able to max everything out. And even though the game only allows me to run 1x AA, I left the game and forced 4x through my 250GTS. It plays great.

So, hopefuly you'll be seeing me a lot in the near term future when I'm not watching the Hockey playoffs.

Good to see you again, i think i was in your squad last night, good times. It was kind of trial by fire as there were some tough tactics being used last night. It was fun though. Hope to see you some more, and we still have the PR server even though its been rather dead for some time now... friday nights it usually springs to life though, if your interested you can join us there too.

HAHAHA.... Verdict is still out on that. As far as the stupid voice command spamming in BF2, anything is better than that. But when you get over that, BF2 is still a pretty fun game. This game definitely still has that BATTLEFIELD feel to it though, that's for sure.

Hope you enjoyed the abbreviated tutorial this morning. If you ever see me priming hop in and we'll do it again, especially if its on a map that you are really unfamiliar with it. Besides, we havent launched you into orbit on a jet ski yet...
