The death of 2142
With regret, TPG has shut down the 2142 server.
Play time is near zero, the game is not being adequately supported (by the players globally, and not just TPG, as well as by the developers), and is thus dead.
It was a good run. Many major TPG figures were born and made in the 2142 servers. Clan leaders, moderators, and high admins.
Should the game's situation change, receive some substantial update, or see new interest, globally, that justify the costs and manpower necessary to host at TPG standards, we will reactivate it.

Re: The death of 2142
A big salute to 2142, one of the best games ever created! It's just to bad the Steam release didn't come in time, oh well.

Re: The death of 2142
My first modern FPS and what brought me to TTP.
It was a fantastic run way up beyond 1000 hours playing this game. Probably better than 90% right here. I met many a folks that I now call friends through TTP and 2142.
Sad day without a doubt.kawaltd750 liked this post
