My reason behind pre-ordering (At the local games store EB games), is very simple - I like to save money, and I LOVE Karkland. So I'll get Karland DLC for free. I bought a DVD copy because I don't know how my connection will hold up and if it's like BC2 it'll take 3 days to download because all the servers got overloaded by a surplus of demand! So I'll take the 25th of Oct off and I'll be playing all day - HOPEFULLY on a (Hint Hint) TPG server....

Of course... there's no guarantee of TPG hosting any DLC put out for BF3... So... are you really saving money?

Where have you been over the last few months of discussions? Any content that is not freely available to every player runs the risk of fragmenting the community and killing the server anytime one of the paid DLC maps comes up. We saw it in 2142 and it really caused us headaches. It was also the reason why BF2 didn't host the AF/EF maps until they were free for all.

Well We don't host Free Games period. You Must Purchase the game to play on our servers. So if the Majority of Reserve slot holders have the Non-Free DLC, would we still cease to host it? What I want is a Goal. Tell us what we have to do to get $DLC$ hosted here.

Yes, we do actually. TF2 is free to play.

Also, a simple majority of RS holders having the DLC won't cut it. There needs to be significant portion of the non-RS as well. It's the only way to guarantee a full server.

Northern Strike, fun as hell, killed the server almost every time.

Don't forget the lesson BF2142 taught. DLC KILLS servers... badly. Priming that thing up only to drop 50% or more on a map switch was devastating.

Keep DLC out of the rotations if you want to maintain the community.
