waiting till i play the final beta and if i pre order it will probably be around oct 20-23 but by then i'm sure they will be out of limited edition copies

Only reason I pre-ordered it was I had a 25% off deal from the Origin store. So I got the Limited Edition for $45 instead of $60.

See now this pisses me off a bit... It's pretty much proven that mostly fans of a game series pre-purchase... So treat those loyal fans well with goodies (IE early access to map packs, early access to weapons, unique dogtags, early access to beta...) Thats great! But don't fuck with the $$. I bought it for $60 on pre-purchase and now Origin went and did a "deal" and gave $15 off. Which isn't that much but still should be offered across the board to all vendors. EB games, Amazon or Breastbuy should have access to that price. For the entire time they have preorders, hell even say the first 1000 pre-orders get 25% off...

This was a 25% off discount code for Origin store I got for my birthday. If any of the other vendors offered you a discount and would allow you to apply it against a pre-order it's their prerogative. I could use the code against any game available on Origin, I just happened to choose (and it accepted) BF3.
