Hi Again

Some of you may remember me from the bf2 server. I played 2500+ hours of BF2 and many if not most of them were on what used to be TexasTeamPlayers... good times! :-) Lots of good and fun memories playing with so many good players! I have not played BF2 regularly for a while but I am excited about BF3 coming out.

I've been playing BFBC2 mostly lately and found the server and the forum a few weeks ago. I'm glad to see that so many of the old and familiar names/people are still here and active in the server. I look forward to BF3 when I can bomb, chopper, armor, snipe etc. all of you to death once again!

edit: Ok so i was pissed when i wrote this... but you seriously pissed me off for a couple of rounds. Its all good though, your time will come.

Glad to hear! I tend to think that if I'm not pissing people on the opposing team off, I must not be doing enough for my team.

Some guy named "Blood_Thirsty" or something like that was pissing me off across 2-3 maps last night - kept getting me right when I was about to cap and I could not figure out where he was. Just wait till BF3... you will want to shove a lot of things up my ass, if it turns out to be anything similiar to BF2.

I'm a pretty horrible multitasker and have avoided Vent/never tried TeamSpeak for that reason. I play like crap when I have people yelling in my ears about stuff that does not have to do with the task at hand. I miss the in game VOIP - could always change squads in game if people got loud or would not stop giving a play by play whether it mattered or not. Lots of fun rounds with some of the BF2 guys yelling and cursing up a storm though. I'll never forget an epic round on Zatar where the squad kept spawning on and keeping me alive all round - ended up conquoring the map with no deaths and top squad for the round.

I'll give TS a try and see how it goes. Hopefully, it won't be as bad as Vent got at times.

yeah blood_thirst is like #1 on the server or something
