This was a close race to say the least. As we started putting the final numbers together, it just kept going back and forth between the two games. In the end, we couldn’t believe how close it was, both titles showed an impressive performance. The numbers speak for themselves though. Battlefield 3 was carried by very strong support in the West, while Modern Warfare 3 had a clear lead in some of the Southern and Northeastern States. Of course since these search popularity numbers are in real-time, they change every day but one conclusion is clear: the country is excited about both games. I still don't realize why anyone with two working brain cells is excited for mw3.It look exactly like mw2.If I told people that the all the content
showen for mw3 was suppose to be dlc for mw2 they would believe me. And mw2 was a disappointing anyway

To me the only thing that sold me was the story and how they announced it...

Activision has mass advertised this everywhere..... really I feel sorry for the fools jumping on a boat that most likely won't float for a long time...

but then again, most of the people jumping on mw3 are going to be console gamers and we don't give a shit about them.

LOL only thing they have against BF3 is there reputation for being a good FPS but now that another company has taken over the franchise some if not most will become disappointed in the game..

I lost all respect for IW after mw2.Not only they didn't add dedicated servers but the multi player was a train wreck.UMP,ACR,Akimbo 1887,care package glitche,commando pro,noob tubes,danger close noob tubes,one man army danger close noob toobs,heartbeat monitors,javelin glitch,boosters,hell some of the red dot sights/scopes were misaligned for some guns.No matter what anyone said to IW they were stubborn.Instead of fixing mw2 they released facking DLC.Hell the game was so broken there were hackers in the xbox 360 version WTF!
Tr3arc aren't much better.They are truly average in every way,except they listen to the community quite a bit.But that doesn't matter when your games are just on barely on par
