well the good thing is, throwing a grenade is just a single button, instead of having to hit 4 or scroll to it. Same with knife kills. Flying is a breeze, there are only 4 classes instead of 6, and that's pretty much it. You can't hold out a medic or supply box to heal or replenish, you have to drop the box, and you only get one box to drop before it reloads. In terms of classes, there are only 4: Medics get the masheen guns, support get the assault rifles, engy picks between AT rockets and mines, and those godforsaken snipers. You need to earn your unlocks (including the medic shock paddles) and things are very arcade-point-based - you get all these pins and medals and awards in each round for performing various styles. That's about it. Oh yeah the various unlockable scopes and mods are cool, you don't see them in BF2 (you get a few similar ones in 2142). The maps are way smaller and the maps alternate between two play modes: capture and hold flags, and arm/defend/defuse bombsites (like in CS, except no bomb carrier). That's pretty much I guess what noobs should know...
Finally -- don't forget to join the Teamspeak server! Ingame voip is broke so we use teamwide TS3 instead.Last edited by [CoFR]SirMoo; 08-11-11 at 01:17 AM.

Re: 11B_Pathfinder is coming
I need to know when is the best time to get on and prime. That way I can learn how to move around on the maps. Any suggestions so I'm not cannon fodder for any old ID 10 T with a gun. I don't plan on being a constant bullet magnet or not knowing what needs to be done. I tried one day last week, but the communication really sucked, so I opted for regular BF2 with the intent to determine when is the best time for me to learn the game play online. This way I can be somewhat helpful for whatever team gets stuck with me.
