It may be written for the XBOX but I don't think Teamplay/Squad work is platform specific. (check your Technical Specification.)

particularly also because I think the amount of voip (ts3) usage on our server is comparable to people using headsets on the xbox version...
We can use full team-chat to our advantage in this way, although we are still limited by who we can spawn on (a lot of times I hear someone else in another squad pushing a flank and I'm stuck in a n00b (nonTS) squad where I can't spawn on them to help out).

You can always ask for a TS grouping, I often do. "Everyone on TS to Golf" Usually pick a Lower squad as not to confuse with objectives.
