the bc2 server from a new guy

i love this server! it is the best server i have been on since the launch of this game. so i thought as a new guy i would tell you what i think in a list of pros and cons.

pros:
great team play even if you arent on teamspeak
respectful players
ping and connection is never an issue
the teamspeak config is genius and makes playing on teamspeak awesome

cons
the lack of restrictions on tubes and rocket launchers
the lack of rules on baseraping

so i am curious though say if the server is dead (which i am sure you are thinking when is that lol) or full are there any other servers you guys like to go to that is like TPG?

It was good playing along side of you Phoenix... This is pretty much the only server that I and most of the folks here play on.

I don't always play away from TPG, but when I do, I play at TPG.

BC2 is awesome at TTP.

I recommend using those pros to make those cons less of a big deal

As far as other servers... I can't play on 'em. Too spoiled from playing BF2, then 2142 and now BC2 here! I have tried a couple of other servers because some RL friends were there. But it was always weak sauce ... usually a bunch of snipers essentially having a death match.

TPG has no rules against "baseraping," tubing, rocket launchers, etc. There are no "off limits" areas. Basically, if it's acceptable in real battle, it's acceptable here. We may frown on certain behaviors (such as armored vehicle use while priming), but there are no set rules against it. If an enemy's behavior is irritating you, get your team to stop it.

Our rules are really quite simple. Play the game as it was meant to be played: work as a team, pursue the objectives, communicate, play to win (rather than for points or k:d ratios), etc. Server rules aren't so much written in stone as they're a philosophy: Teamplay. Pretty simple, right?

Anyway, glad to have you, If you value teamplay, you've found your home. Guaranteed.

yah the baseraping con is a hold over from bf2 which no one i played with ever did cuz of auto kick and well you just didnt do it and the tube con is just a pet peeve overcoming both can be a challenge for some people :P

but man i was really hoping to have a server i could go to when it wasnt working out for whatever reason you know what i mean but i mean TPG is TPG

You've never played our BF2 Server Obviously. LOL You may baserape the shit outta that server, as long as you have more flags than they do Other wise that's not playing with your team. I condone baserape at the Appropriate times.

Got a taste of that shit again last night, but we broke out a few times. Its those rounds were nobody can get out of the spawn period, no matter how hard one works on it that totally suck.
