Certainly because DICE want most people to be able to be somewhat decent on their own the first time they pick BF3, which would explain the ''nerf''. After all, we might be ones of the few people that still appreciate the challenge in taking down highly maneuverable helicopters... sigh...
I just hope the chopper will be tweaked before the release date

Not me. Seeing half the team at the airbase really turned me off, I didn't wanted to be part of that.

But yeh, I'm pretty sure BF2 beta wasn,t that much better neither.

Having played on Caspian for a few hours today, I have to admit, I'm no longer hyped for BF3. Yes, the gunplay is fantastic, but the rest is complete and absolute bullshit.

I feel like a fucking idiot for having pre-ordered this game.

you kidding we had a squad in voip, w/tanks and infantry its was a blast, no lag at all.

I have to say the map is really big and a bit unfocused, i guess that will change as ppl learn the map.

the only thing I think is kinda lame is the jets, they are kinda in thier own world and cant really support the ground units like they should. maybe it will change on release.

we gotta keep in minds this is the BETA so there can be alot of things changing. like the map alignment in the park section of metro. really really bad. and shot gun damage whoa!( on somre servers i been on the defending team is letting the attackers get the frist two mcoms pretty much)

I hear alot of ppl saying they wont leave bf2, change is not somthing humans have ever done well. I myself have left bf2 long ago for 2142 and I wouldnt play anything but PR now. sure you can run bf3 on a 460, 5000 but if you really wanna play you need some nice hardware thats just how it is. and if you look back to when bf2 came out it was the same way.


bf3 beta is far from perfect, heck its down right bad at some points. but its like a butterface, somtimes you just gotta look at the body.
