I played a few rounds last nigh on it.It was a blast,however air vehicles need some work.Two big problems,One is the vehicle disable makes you lose control if you take 50% damge and second is the vehicles specs makes air vehicles very weak,no flares and missiles and jets.

I have to agree with Pvt.

Air vehicles are not powerful enough. As they stand now, they are no hindrance to ground troops whatsoever.

Using the cannon on the F-18, I lit up an infantry for 2/3 of my entire cooldown burst, but did not kill him. He looks up at me with his IGLA, disables my jet, sets me on fire at 80% hp, meaning I would have to land and repair my uncontrollable jet, or let the damage over time take me out.

Chopper rockets are shot in a spray pattern, meaning there is no way to hit what you are aiming at, not that it would matter because they do no damage. Chopper gunner has a hard enough aiming at things, no mind to the fact that there is pretty much no splash damage on the gun. If any vehicle on the map even looks at you, your chopper flips over upside down in fright. And good luck finding the guy locking onto you with his stinger.

Air vehicles don't need to be as powerful as they were in BF2, I am fine with that; but as they stand now, they are no better than DICE making a class of soldier that can only kill other soldiers of that class. They can do no harm to anyone else, but everyone can kill them.

Maybe it's because I haven't played conquest yet, but the mode and map it allows you to play makes this game look like BC3. Not BF3. Disappointed, severely. Although I kind of expected it, hence why I didn't pre order.

So, been looking around, and I have heard that the Caspian Border servers have been shut down for good today (for the remainder of Beta), and then other places say that they are supposed to be opened up for the public today.

COME ON EA, open it up to everyone, or else you are gonna lose sales because everyone will have this impression of "CoD clone" that Metro is giving me.
