I don't know about you guys, but I am definitely going to play through campaign before I get into the multiplayer.

If I understand correctly there is co-op... so whose down to play that through with me??

My understanding is co-op is separate content from single player.

From PSM, but I am sure it is the same for PC:

"Battlefield 3's online two-player co-op mode will include 10 maps, DICE has confirmed.DICE executive producer Patrick Bach revealed the number to PSM3 magazine (which was then spotted by Digital Spy).
Battlefield 3's co-op mode will be separate to its single-player campaign."

Well, looks like I will be going solo for the first couple days.

Glad to know my memory isn't totally failing.

After the good news from Nvid expo, I may actually buy the game 1 day after launch (still want see how day 1 turns out before I leap again). If all is well I really want play the co-op 1st before I do anything else honestly. Co-op brings back fond memories of me, and my cousin sitting down for hours playing Halo co-op on hardcore. It's something I forgot was in BF3 while was playing the beta, and getting angry :P

Actually It might be wise for those that are going to be in-game right off the bat to Surf Servers (Pub it) for a the first few days to get a feel for Available server Options. HC(sl spawn), Killcam, Health regen, armor regen, etc. Then come Report here what you like and Don't Along with Bugs and such. At least do it once, But otherwise I'm down for a Co-op, And I will Definately be playing single player. I give single player play through 7 hours, that's +1 to BC2's 6 hour play through(cutscene incl)

I'll be playing the campaign first as well. Just not sure if it will be on the PC or Xbox first?

Xbox Pros:

Leather chair and ottoman
46" HDTV
lots of room filling bass
and an IIPA

PC Pros:

Leather executive chair
30" monitor
Headphones for superior positional audio
and an IIPA

As long as I have the IIPA next to me, I'm sure either will be fine.
Although with the Xbox, it would be easier to take a nap in-between levels.

I think I read somewhere that there are unlocks you can earn in single-player and co-op that carry over to Multiplayer and it's the only place you can unlock them? Depending on how the launch goes... we all might be stuck playing SP or Co-Op anyways.... but positive thoughts for now.

Discussing pirated software is not something I should be doing on TPG property. This includes 'leaked' software of questionable origin.
