Thread: BF3 Countdown Timer based on PC's internal clock

OK so check this out. I have been trying to get a correct answer on exact time for Launch. BF3 Twitter is saying 3am EST on the 25th. @zh1nt0 is saying 00:01 ESt on the 25th. If you don't know yet, when you try and start up BF3 it takes you to a Date Release Check that it has to pass. If you look at the 2 picks you will notice that the times are 3 hours apart. I changed my PC clock to EST and got a lower time. So what I have been thinking all along (that I can't seem to get answer from anyone at EA) is if the game launches at 00:01 EST that would mean 9pm PST on the west coast which would be awsome for us west coasters. I'm also thinking they wanted to space out the lauch times for stability purposes

I'm thinking the "Date Release Check" goes off what ever your internal clock is.

What do you think?

So then if Launch is at 00:01 Est, I can change my clock and play at 9PM PST 24th?

According to mine, it's going to unlock for me at 3:00 am EST... so much for playing it at midnight
