Thread: How do you BF3?

Ok, trying to decide on some unlock paths and such, and just wanted to get some feedback from everyone else. Do you play the class you want, regardless of progression and unlocks? Do you play the classes somewhat evenly to keep getting unlocks for all classes? Do you just play the class your squad/team needs, and not worry about any of this?

My favorite class is support, big surprise I know, but it seems that there are always a couple of other people as support in my squad, so I end up going Engie or Medic.

The tough thing for me is deciding whether to unlock the attachments for each classes army specific weapon (M16 vs AK) first, or start using a cross-army weapon immediately after I unlock it to unlock it's attachments.

I am trying to evenly gain toys for each class, but it is harder for recon because outside of the spawn beacon I am finding them less useful... I am stoked support has the explosives now!

engineer all the way! love taking out those vehicles and i just love the G36C gun!

I got the defibs, a lmg with bipod, and now I'm focusing solely on engineer.

I unlocked shock paddles and lmg so that if my sl asks for something specific, I won't be completely useless

i like recon no suprise there for those who played bc2 with me but on maps like peak and metro i'll play engier/assult/support same with bazar

I am recon all the way. I only have points in support cause I miss-clicked once, lol....

I am very good at judging distance and bullet drop, have a very stead hand, and I can compensate with my pistol for the lack of close quarters weaponry.

Spawn beacon and MAV (mini aerial vehicle) and very handy to me.....
