Joystick

So, I know some people had had problems with using a joystick for BF3.

My joystick works just fine; however, whenever I'm not in a jet or helicopter, my character just automatically fires his weapon non-stop. Is there a fix for this? You would think a game made in this day in age would not do that, especially when it worked flawlessly in BF2.

Anyone?

I did try that before about a week and a half ago, not because of this post but because I was having such issues with it. While my joystick does work, there is not actual control settings for a joy in game. Flying with mouse and keyboard in a jet is much better to me than with my joy. It sucks cause i just popped $60 bucks on a new one that I prolly wont use.

I have the same issue and fixed mine by setting my thruster to half throttle.

I think bf2 had similar joystick mapping issues when falcon (or whatever) was included in patch 1.5 (or whatever)
