You can say that all you want Langrad, but 99% of the time, it's not a matter of the teams being stacked. It's a matter of teams not working as a TEAM. As a general rule of thumb, admins in the Battlefield series will balance teams if they are numerically different but balancing by 'skill' is not something we do. A team 'stacked' with skilled players can be defeated by a team of lesser skilled players who work together as a team.

We saw the same thing in BC2, 2142 and BF2 before that. There are always people complaining about team stacking. The biggest problem I see with BF3 (and BC2) is people joining off friends list and getting thrown on the same team as their friend which throws things out of balance numbers wise. That's a bigger problem than the skill balance most times. 10 minutes where auto-balance sits there with its thumb up its ass where teams are off by 6+ people is enough to swing a TON of tickets in favor of the team with more people.

Re: Stacked Teams
I too have been on both sides of the coin, and most of the time it takes a round or two for things to even out/turn around or balance. The times where that doesn't happen I'd say it's not just a teamwork issue or leadership issue, but also a rhythm issue. Even when your squad is trying to work together sometimes you just can't find the right timing/placement for spawning and movement. The games where we've really been blown away are generally (IMO) characterized by the squad mates spawning at seperate times only to be blown away before the squad can team up, or getting caught in the middle of a push while your team is crumbling(probably as a result of the 'I'm just going to snipe since we're losing' mentality).
BF3 really has a momentum factor that seems to be really easy to carry over from match to match, especially when the team has resigned itself to losing

Re: Stacked Teams
I don't find that "heavy hitter" players have much effect on the overall flow of the game when the server is full. I can run around with an elite squad capping flag after flag, getting a 3.00-4.00 squad KDR and still lose easily.
In fact that happens a lot more than you'd think. You get a really good squad and go capping flags like mad, but your team is completely incapable of coordinating and you end up losing a point for every one you cap.
On the other side of the fence I've been on teams with lots of low level players, most with lower KDR's and low points who manage to coordinate, hold chokes and win a round against teams full of "heavy hitters."
With 32 people on each team it's really all about the flow of the team together, because 4 people can't take on 15 defenders and cap a flag while they respawn, no matter how good they are.
