    Bleh

Unfortunately, i was gifted this game. Rather than insult my giftor, i reluctantly redeemed the code and installed the game, figured, I'd give EA's frostbite 2 engine a chance.

So for starters, just to make sure i understand this.... I have to have EA's Battlelog lameness plugins installed in my browser, in order to launch the game?!?!?! I could not get single player to launch, kept bringing up battlelog website, I had to click "Launch Campaign" in website in order to launch the game?

Second, is co-op the same story/gameplay as single player? Because... well you dont want to know what i think about the linear, scripted single player POS, that i've played so far...

Does single player get any better (in regards to less scripted scenes)? I am in the scene with where you are playing a Russian special agent, (just after the part were you take the bank, find the nuke), its been nothing but scripted crap so far... game instant kills you if you step outside the script's intended specifications, or guys simply do not die because they are apart of some scripted event which will likely later kill them and are invincible in the mean time.

As for multiplayer, I have not tried it. I have but three questions:
    1. will my sniper rounds penetrate the cockpit of helicopters and jets?
    2. Have air vehicles been balanced when compared to BF2 (ie not bf2 OP, where the only way to take down a skilled jet pilot was with another jet)?
    3. Are weapons customizable? Specifically the scopes (i want to remove the scope on a bolt)?

im not looking to camp deployments, bun bun does not camp, ever (i do not have the attention span to sit still, in the same place for any extended period of time), so much as i am looking to shoot the airwhores speeding at me in a ___. For example, BC2 support helos were easy to one shot the pilot, but attack helos had insanely bullet proof windows over the cockpit, which deflected all bolt fire when the helo was in motion :<

good to hear. So then co-op is completely different from single player?

There are 6 co-op missions unrelated to the singleplayer.

You should only play with people on your friends list though that way you can use party chat so you have a way of communication.

Go to battlelog>stats>weapons & equipment then you can see the different weapons for each class. Click on a weapon, and you can see the scopes available.

well, it's not like any of the COOP mission requires some high level of coordination :/

The sniping ones do, I failed on of the missions twice in a row because the guy I was with kept shooting the guys in the bus on the left side instead of his side (right bus).
I even marked them with Q and everything.

Don't play the single player it was the worst experience in single player I had the misfortune of playing entirely through. Do coop only if you want the weapons, the missions are ok, but overall very easy even on hard. Multi player is amazing, best multiplayer game I've ever played.
