New patch released today.

• Increased the damage of the 44 Magnum slightly.

Hahaha holy smokes that is nuts. That thing is already basically a one shot kill what do they want people's heads to explode?

All of these changes sound great, I'm especially stoked about the squad management updates.

Damn and i thought you would be more excited with them fixing the black screen issues.....

Not happy about it ,random frezes(yeah even more now),FPS increased (more lag),black screen with only sound,disconecting frome EA,BF3.exe stoped working all the time,Something went wrong message and on end on.
Actualy the game is more fucked up now as it was before.

Was disappointed to see that DICE didn't take the time to make the tactical light intensity more reasonable with this patch. I remember seeing tweets from someone at the studio showing what were supposed to be before and after shots showing the results of work they were doing to modify the lights.

And what's the story with reserve slots or the join queue?

Tac lights and IRNV fixes weren't guaranteed in this fix... they said the very vague 'an upcoming patch'. People just assumed they meant this patch.

Nothing in the release notes about them. We'll of course test them.

yep... It's a shame... I didnt see ANYONE complaining about the g3 or the Scar-h, and yet they they nerfed it... I mean fuck, the G3 has lower mag capacity, lower rate of fire and higher recoil than all other assault riffle... The only thing its good for is its damage... But I didn't try it since the patch, so I can't comment on the nerf yet...

From what I've heard, it seems like the only weapon that players find kind of overpowered is the F2000 (I've barely used it since I unlocked it, I don't know if its really the case, but I do see a lot of people using it), and yet they've left it unchanged.

F2000 is not OP really, it's a preferred weapon, i for one am struggling with the pure kick it has, honestly it possess me of and i fall back on my gorgeous m416... the scar was OP, a beast of a weapon that matched the assault classes guns? I thought my Preciosa g3a3 was nerfed, I'm glad to see it's the g3....
