Do you think the server should switch to smaller map sizes?

Hello I was wondering where did U all disapeare . I'm ok for 16 32 players if no more come to play .
I suggest to set up some rendez-vous on every week . It sould be one on the week end an maybe another or two on week .
What do u think ?

Hi general. When Battlefield 3 came out, a lot of people switched to that game and it reduced the Battlefield 2 server population drastically. Also, a some big games have been released recently like Skryim and some kind of Star Wars game, so a lot of people have been playing that.

The admins reduced the map size because of fewer players.

I forgot to say hello everybody ! I'm glad not to be the last to stay on bf2 (anyway my lap top can't run with newer games )

I'm ok with your idea to reduce the number of max players but I have a other idea to help a bit more maybe ...
It is to set up some kind of schedule to find a day that fit with the most players reading this forum to be on the server. So we'll be at least able to start the server one day per week . And we may can organize some special events, like trainings or I don't know ...
Maybe we could open a new topic to chose a day and an hour and talk about this .

Was this temporary? It's back to 8 now.

I think we should keep the 32 player maps at least, 16 player maps tend to get capped out often and I see it hurt server population.

6 players to start to prime 16 player maps....admin can make changes to progress maps or raise map size to 32 when there are enough players. gotta get players in the building first then more people will show up for the party!

I'll also be on tonight (Thursday).

Was on last night. We got primed - eventually to 12 or 14 total. Fun was had for a few rounds, but it didn't sustain.

Hoping for better tonight.
