The BF3 Adventure. HELP!
I got the game the night it came out. I was doing great with my new video card, monitor, and almost $1,000 in upgrades just for this game. Then my internet went down. Eventually I was able to play the game. A couple days past and I am getting the hang of the game finally. Then the game freeze. I did control/ATL/ DELETE which pulled me to the normal thing task manager. Then a box comes up saying a problem with the game. Will send you a report on whats wrong. It is my computer that sent that. Not the actual server or game. I thought if I simply deleted the game and re-instal the game it would fix it. Sadly no.
What could be the problem? It has worked in the past now it won't. I want to play the best game that EA offers. Yet I can not even play 2 mins. of a single round before it freezes. :/

Re: The BF3 Adventure. HELP!
First things first... have you updated your entire machine... windows updates, graphics and hardware updates, etc?
Can you try playing the game after killing all other software you dont need running?
Try pulling your application log and looking for related errors after it crashes. Start > right click computer > manage > event viewer > windows logs > application log

Re: The BF3 Adventure. HELP!
For everything I have read, this sounds like video drivers. Try going down on a few things on the graphics.
Motion Blur = off and all that candy stuff off and see how it goes. And everything that Tex said too. If you find me on TS I can run thru some settings if you need. I don't have any problems.

Re: The BF3 Adventure. HELP!
Make sure you have your chipset drivers up to date and any other hardware drivers. All windows and ie updates are run. Make sure to DISABLE everything but the game. No teamspeak. No plug ins. No Fraps... If none of that does it, try the most up to date non-beta video driver first. If that doesn't resolve it, try disabling your soundcard to see if that's causing issues. If that doesn't resolve it, try the beta video drivers like Chapel recommends.
Sorry, I think I'm repeating what everyone else already said...Last edited by RhysJD3; 12-20-11 at 03:27 PM.

Re: The BF3 Adventure. HELP!
For me I've had issues with video drivers being not current required beta copies for my nvidia cards as well as a TS plugin crashing my game. All other issues seem related to patches etc.
