Farming the Barracks

Well Pint, i now know first hand the incredible rush of being alone, on a night server, cycling loot in the barracks. Krom and i hit the barracks on an empty server, there was just me and him. His internet acted up and he disconnected. After that i was alone, and bored, so i decided to cycle the 4 loot spawns. Just as i dumped the AS50 and some other stuff i had in my bag, i saw two hoppers in front of me de-spawn, and heard a shuffling noise inside the last room of the barracks. I didn't have time to pick up the loot so i stealthily moved to the bushed just to the south (leaving the AS50 on the ground to the side of the barracks). I checked the server pop and the only other dude on the server was the one that just spawned in right next to me. He inspected the barracks and exited, making a bee line to the North Barracks. Anyway, i was scared shitless for a few minutes, i was sure he knew someone was there as i left all the doors open in the barracks on my first run. But he just vacated the area, didn't even see the beginnings of me loot pile. I stayed behind, scooped up the AS50 and cleared the immediate Zeds, i wasn't about to leave Krom stranded to spawn in at the barracks alone. Krom rejoined a few minutes later (spawning right near the entrance to the So. Barracks) , and we boogied out of there to the south.

Exhilarating. And i can agree that the odds of running into a player on a nearly empty server while looting an HVT is far greater than running from town to town on a higher pop server.
