    Re: Custom Faces

I played around this a week or so ago and it is fun, however. There is always a however. I have seen a lot of servers kick you for having a custom face. When you go to join you will get a message to the effect "custom face of 29000bytes>0bytes." Custom faces are a fun and we even went as far back in the Operation Flashpoint days to take pictures of all of us and use that as an overlay on the template (granted we had someone who knew how to use Photoshop in our group). It made it very easy to tell who was who. But back to point, custom faces are not allowed on all servers so I just reverted to the carrot top default face because i got tired of having to switch back and forth.

Getting a camo-face in Dayz (Guide) : dayz

gonna try this again, It tried it as i installed 94945 and i assumed it was the face. Reverted betas never tried it since.

I like the "delta_goggles" for a Team specific "Look" Easily recognizable and difficult to recreate.

    Re: Custom Faces

A Key to getting the Face to Look its best is converting it from Jpeg to PAA, a file format used by Bohemia in Arma 2. A Texture File.
BIS (Bohemia Interactive Software) the makers of Arma/2:OA have an Editor Kit available with a Jpeg-PAA Conversion Its Called Texview.
