    frame rate

I know that in BF2 PR you could type a command in the console to show what your frame rate is. Is there anyway to do the same in ARMA 2? If not, is there any program that you guys would suggest?

The reason I ask is because I just found this video on the dayZ forum and wanted to see if it would give me any performance boost.

Fraps is free. But you should buy it when you get the chance

The minimal changes everyone should do is:

In video settings disable post processing and match your resolutions. Damn game will look cookie crisp.

I'm guessing you mean post process effects? Don't want to disable the wrong thing haha...

    Re: frame rate

I use DXTory. It doesn't slow my machine down in games like fraps, and there is a free unlimited trial version for it (everything you record has a watermark).
