BMRF Admins, tread carefully

I know how we do things at TPG, as a long time past admin of many games, i know we are held to a higher standard. The rules not only apply to us, but with far less slack than even the casual player.

I noticed this thread as Admin abuse claims always intrigue me.

Kachi flexing his e-peen.

If the server has a no racism/homophobia rule that applies to players, it should apply to admins as well.

I don't know if their highs will take any action, but just something to be aware of, and an illustration as to why admins need to be held to a higher standard. Im spoiled from playing at TPG where the admins are extremely professional.

After reading that post I had two thoughts.

1 - post a link to their rules in that mess.
2 - not play there.

Yeah, i had the same thoughts..... but aside from this altercation, they do seem to run a good server.

I'm just surprised one of their highs didn't step in to A) Up hold the ban, which in and of itself is solidly warranted and B) Call out the admin who did not handle the processing of the ban professionally.

Like i said, im spoiled by playing at TPG for so many years.

Seems another admin jumped in and admitted to Kachis mishandling of the ban..... i feel better now.

I would admin again if they did.

For once totally agree with Krom. Thats utter BS. Is BMRF great? Yes. But I have 0 respect for the server now with an admin that takes his job so lightly.

He had a lack in judgement. I've seen many TPG admins have brain farts before. He apologized and said that he learned from this situation. End of story... TPG isn't perfect, we shouldn't expect perfection from any other community, especially one that is brand new compared to how long TPG has been around.

I have a question about our own servers. How many are we going to have? And are we going to have a dedicated PvE servers for the players that like to farm loot all day? Speaking my own mind, but I really hope we do this right.
