It looks like is approved and released on DayZ Commander.
I been playing it for 10 minutes and can say that i like that map,sooooo where is our TPG DayZ server?

From everything we see a server ID = Permission

No Permission could = law suit

The only suggestion I have for Taviana is modifiying the Loot for barracks. Or just adding a 'non-troll' barracks to every location where there are troll barracks.

Anders, apparently a DayZ staffer, suggests going the private hive route:

"Hi guys,

Since standalone is getting closer to completation.
Dayzmod ticket system is being worked on less and less. I'd recommend using the private hive options if you want to host your own servers for now

or simply wait if you really really want a public hive access. "

This in response to postings of server id request delays of weeks.

DayZ Bliss seems to be, by far, the most popular/used private hive system:

Apparently an Instance ID can take 10+ days.

Configuring your DayZ Server

What you should know

You cannot deviate from the official server naming convention
Most variables in the configuration file cannot/should not be changed
Changing something that shouldn't be changed can result in unpredictable behaviour - YOU are responsible for this, not your server host.

Instance IDs
Instance IDs identify your server. For example, my server is US355. This is my Instance ID. This will be provided either by your Managed Server host (if they do whitelisting) or the DayZ staff after you've registered your server at the link above under "Dedicated Servers". You must include this, as it is a part of the official server naming convention linked above.

It looks like you only need an ID to connect to the Official Hive, and on chernarus only, and by their rules.
So imo It doesn't look like we need an ID to run the server how we want to.

Looks like that to me, especially given the DayZ staffers suggested solution. With a Private Hive, you can rule as you see fit. If you are on Public Hive, their rules apply 100% (banning hackers is VERY difficult by their rules). Plus, inserting modded configs, spawns, etc. are possible.
