I started playing yesterday. Spawned somewhere, couldn't see 3 feet in front of me. Walked to a small village, got chased by zeds, ran like hell, got away, hid in a building, and logged off. I may be on tonight, and if so I will try to meet up with others.

Re: The Day Z Chronicles
Let me tell you a story about my second day in DAYZ...
I log on, don't have a flipping idea yet on how to use the inventory system. Stegg gives me a sniper rifle... I try to equip this thing and end up dropping it. Long story short we spend 20 minutes flattening the grass looking for this damn thing.. We give up as the ground apparently swallowed this thing.
Server is having issues... Gets restarted.. Stegg gives me a handgun, a pretty nice one too. Lots of ammo. I manage to equip the handgun, but drop the flashlight in the process. Server is going to get restarted again in an attempt to change the time. I figure I have to hurry up and get that damn flashlight back. I pick up the flashlight: Awesome I say. Server restarts in a second attempt to fix the darkness. It's at that moment I realize I dropped the gun when I picked up the flashlight.
I have roughly 4 hours in DAYZ and have lost many items from stupidity. The funny thing about it is that I can't wait to play some more and hopefully grasp the dropventory issue..

Re: The Day Z Chronicles
Also since it has been so long since I have played when I get back I am going to need some guidance. The game has probably changed so much I am probably noob status right now lol.
Sent from my phone (not some stupid clever synonym of a flash of light)!

Just keep at it War, it'll come to you. Once you get used to it, the inventory system works pretty good. Beware the ground; it will swallow a gun whole if it's by itself.

Imo, you need another PvP team Max. Not going to lie Scott and Co. are really good at avoiding contact(not a bad thing) and if you want views you're gonna need action in your videos. Might take awhile to get that footage with the way things are set up now. We had this problem with "FBI vs Scott and Company". I'd be willing to lead a 4th party, "Team Savages". Main purpose is to create havoc. No care in the world for the meaning of life. Will engage at all cost. Will kamikaze if need be. Might be a nice twist and bring some excitement to the videos.
Let me know.Last edited by Mr_Blonde_OPS; 12-13-12 at 03:26 PM.
