    I like the majority of the elements in the new patch that i've seen so far. Firing a gun in a town is much more of a risk. Before it was a bit too care free. It's a bit more realistic the way it is now, it's just people are complaning cause they were used to it the other way. I do find myself dropping my main rifle to equip my axe. I wish there was an easier way to swap for your axe. The time it takes isn't the issue, just the mechanic. It would be nice if you could equip the axe in the secondary slot. A small hatchet instead of an axe would be cool. They should still have a chance that when you fire a sniper rifle from the woods or up a hill to spawn/draw zombies.

    Dayz is not a pvp game. It's a survival game with pvp elements to it. If people play it for pvp only, they're playing the wrong game imo.

    A lot of people are complaining that zombies are harder to lose, I found it the opposite. In the past there was only 2 good ways to lose zombies without killing them. Enter a building or do the zigzag method up a hill. Now I can lose them by breaking line of sight with buildings you cannot enter. They seem to give up quicker if they cannot see you anymore.

    People who add the PVP element are necessary in a game like this. If it was just hold my hand style gameplay it would get old quick.

    I find its more and more Pvp... Now you have more reasons to kill people! Food, water, blood, pills, antibiotics, guns etc... The more so when you add random chopper spawns.. Now nvgs won't be given out like candy, nor rifles. The chopperlootwhore aka BuddyLee even said today that this is a good thing because valuable items got more valuable! Finally some polish to this gem! Now get out there and pimip this server people! More players the better!

    At least I won't be the only hunter haha!

    Don't get me wrong, a big part of survival already includes PVP. A player's play style will determine this.

    In the 1.7.4 patch, I could re-gear in half a day. Assuming I could get the chopper crashes. Post 1.7.5.1, chopper crashes are rare, zeds are tougher and good military gear is hard to come buy.

    On a scale to 1 to 10, 1 being all survival and 10 all PVP. 1.7.4 patch was a 7 to 8. Now 1.7.5.1 is a 4 to 5. SA will be a 2-3, I assume.

    Agreed. Good to know though, i ran over a few yesterday but was lucky enough to not take damage i guess.

    Don't drive your car into town. Park out of town, sneak in, get what you need, and sneak out. This is a survival game. If you want everything to be hunky dorey, go play Hello Kitty Island Adventure...
