I think his main rotor hit a wire and the copter jerked so hard the tail just ripped off. I'm not certain though... I just crashed my DayZ chopper after posting this video! lmao

Def main rotor hit the cable. You can see it pretty well towards the end when they replay. Not sure why the tail rotor snapped like that. I do not think scrap metal is going to get that one going again.

I think it was the "whip-lash" that took the tail off. You can see the guy almost gets ripped out of his seat too. Doesn't look like it jerks that much, but you know that guys back just got pulled in two different directions...
