In TS, it's DayZero, on Chernarus.

Some Dabble in Epoch. Some do not.

I've played Epoch Panthera. With Maxipad. It was fun. But we played it like DayZ.
I've Played Epoch on Chernarus and made full use of traders, Both times ended in a "fuck this Moment"
Getting our SUV stolen due to incompetent key/lock usage, to getting trolled by Tank traps glitched into the road.

The base building, the expanded list of available weapons and vehicles. Since I can buy a new one if needed I have actually learned to fly a helicopter with out fear of destroying something that took multiple people multiple hours of play time to fix. The AI missions means if you can't think of something to do you can do those. I know if I get in a fire fight and loose I won't be spending the next week of play getting my gear back to the same level as when I died.

It feels like there is an "end game" to the play, my first day I killed three people. Cool right? Fun. The thing is I sold their gear and made a little base, there was a point beyond hunting a player. Just overall it makes it feel more fleshed out.

Dayzero: Weapon balance,*ai chopper crashes, pvp centered, more enterable buildings.modified NEAF and Stary Sober looting areas.

Epoch: Base building, trading/monetary system

Personally I didn't think much of epoch and shared Scion's frustrations.

I'm really looking forward to Stand alone!

I was on a random server the other night with a guillie suit, British backpack, m24 and mp5SD and 2 choppers set down on opposite sides of me (4 guys in each one) and gunned me down like a dog and I thought...

I remember playing with the TPG guys and being the ones with the coopers lol
