I have to say I am excited. I was really down on the game and upset with how long it was taking. The last video had me impressed with the scale of the environment and how far along it got. I can handle some bugs if they are taken care as we go. The way Rocket was talking led me to believe the game would be broken in that killing zombies or other players would just not work at all.

Just played for an hour... Many things I dislike off the bat. No health bar / food bar / stats at all. So you have to rely on this tiny white text that flashes up in the very lower left corner. The movement feels more slick, but I just can't stand the circle recticule. Buggy as all get out - got one shot hit by a teleporting zed, who knocked me out. When knocked out you have a blank screen with "you're unconscious" in the middle in white writing. No timer. After 15 mins of waiting I respawned. Feels like a dumbed down version of the real Day z so far.

I erased the max ping "100" from the filter, still nothing.

What am I doing wrong?

Well as the developers stated when they released the Alpha yesterday, don't fucking play the game if all you are going to do is bitch and complain. If you want to create a cesspool of negativity go create a new thread for that.

good i liked it better that way. Hub make sure you have the internet tab and if that doesnt work just restart your game acouple times. i had the same issue.
