New Super Mario Bros. Wii
http://wii.ign.com/articles/103/1032770p1.html
November 15th! Gonna go pre-order mine now. The videos look awesome. My fiancee always wants to mess with our consoles but says she can't stand the 3D games and wants an old school 2D platformer... well here it is, and we can play simultaneously!

Yeh, I have that, I tried to show it to her but she wasn't that interested... I think she might just use the whole "I don't like 3D" thing as an excuse.
I only have one PS3 controller... can you do LBP multiplayer local with more than one controller?

Re: New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Got my new Mario Bros yesterday, and since I was home from work sick I played it for about 5 hours straight.
It was a lot of fun... but I think I overdid it. TOO MUCH MARIO.

Yeh, I think it's harder than Galaxy for sure. Even on world 2 I'm having a hard time getting all the secrets and stars. I cleared world 1 completely though including a warp which I probably won't even use.

Yeh, I figured out how to get to the cannon, it takes you all the way to world 5, but I want to play through the worlds in order anyway.

Re: New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Great game in terms of level design, and typical Mario innovations such as the new power ups. They dropped the ball big time on the controls though. The most frustrating is when you do the spin move right off the edge when you didn't even shake the remote! Also when playing with multiple people, whenever one of them dies your character freezes for a split second!!! This is unacceptable and was very frustrating to me because at the end of the 2nd world i had 30 lives and my friends had all already continued several times so i was dealing with their deaths constantly. It is still alot of fun to play but the tougher levels can get very frustrating because of the unrefined controls adding unnecessary difficultly to some already challenging levels. The final castle is quite the level. Still not as difficult as Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels but still has a good challenge to it, and collecting all the star coins to unlock the secret levels is going to be time consuming. If you own a Wii i would consider this a must buy if you enjoy a good platformer.
Did i mention Mario games are my all time favorite?
