You can downplay the difference all you want, but it is very much noticable and I can feel it when playing. So, I completely disagree with you saying the gameplay feels the same. Just my opinion, so no need to get your fanboy panties all bundled up.

Didn't we have something over this awhile ago anyways for exclusives:
If your an FPS (first person shooter) whore, get a 360
If you like adventure games and a good story, get a PS3
EDIT: if you want a console you don't have to send back every few months, get a PS3

If you want a console that doesn't overheat after an hour of play, get an XBOX360.
See? I can do it too and I don't own either system. I just know that certain PS3s have issues with heat (the newer ones are suppose to be better). All 360s don't break on you every few months (despite what some people might have you think). I know people who have had their 360s for awhile and have yet to send it back or have any real issues with the system.

this does not make me a fan boy, this makes me blessed to have access to such a great device.
the 360 only does a fracton of these things, so in my defence the ps3 is better for a person like me. but if you just want to turn on your machine, play a game, then turn it off the 360 could be a better choice (provided you dont red ring)
had to throw that in there for my roomate who went through 5 xboxes before trading in the last one for a ps3
