Coming from a competitive console gaming background, I would agree with Microsoft. Unless your one of those freaks that can use the highest sensitivity available for the console game of your choosing, the precision that a mouse offers would simply be overwhelming in a keyboard/mouse verses controller match.

Re: PC Players better than console players
Few year back I bought a SmartJoy FRAG for the PS2 to prove a point. The game was SOCOM navy seals. Almost game over for them when I had the keyboard/mouse combo configured right. They reverted to camping, since I could out aim them in the open. In the end I lost because I didn't know all the gay hiding spots.

OK, since my phone decided not to post earlier:
The one advantage that console gaming offers is ease of movement. The controller joystick allows a range of motion between standing and running, as opposed to a keyboard. Of course, you can hook a controller up to a computer, so it makes no difference... but hey, they got SOMETHING right.
While I'm at it, I have a keyboard idea: On the far left side, by the WASD keys, put a joystick there. Or, better yet, make it so you can add a joystick on top of WASD or something. Get the best of both worlds. Why no rank?
Because that isn't why or how I play.
