Yeah, so here is the link,

Apparently Microsoft thinks letting PC players into XB360 matches would ruin things for Console players. I think we should discuss it. My two cents, I *hated* the original bad company on PS3, but I thought I was just too suborn to accept a new control style maybe this article has a point though.

PC gamers have the obvious advantage:
Graphics: PC gamers have the option of having higher-resolution, better ratio screens than console players. Also, console games are optimized for the hardware on the consoles, but oftentimes console hardware pales in comparison to even a modest PC system.
Controls: PC gamers have a mouse that allows instantaneous reaction to anything. A PC gamer can throw a 180 in the blink of an eye, while a console gamer would have to wait for their screen to slowly turn all the way around. In addition, the mouse can also help the PC gamer snap to a target, while a console gamer requires an auto-assist to let them hit their targets.
Audio: They're about equal. A console gamer can have a high quality surround sound system, but so can the PC gamer. However, a surround sound headset probably throws the PC gamer an extra bone by giving extra clarity to where a sound comes from exactly.

If you give the console gamers mouse and keyboard support, you only have to worry about the graphic issues. At the same time, that almost requires that everybody on console use mouse and keyboard to keep up with eachother as well.

Consoles are an outdated idea. And I think they've begun to realize that, which is why we keep seeing stupid things like motion controllers and 3D come up in marketing for new games.

3D and motion controllers will be the way of the future though and once they get it properly done, it'll be awesome for all games and perhaps one step closer to like a true deal full type of VR that is affordable for everyone. Right now, the motion controls aren't great for all games and some of the items they have out now are just gimmicks and are lame. The idea behind 3D everything seems to be that way too right now, but it'll only get better as they realize what they can do for 3D and actually make it look and feel like everything belongs in 3D and the same can be said for motion controls.
Right now though, it is not that great, but still fun for some things.

Properly done is a long ways away I think. So right now any game with the words "motion controller" or "3D" can be safely ignored and disregarded.
