Halo: Reach Forge Map Making

Ok so I decided that Im going to start making maps for Reach using the Forge feature. The best layout to do this with is to use the Forge World Map and go from there. What I need is your guy's thoughts and ideas, sadly im not very creative for map design, but with the Forge Im pretty good at making the maps and tweaking them with some things that I feel are better. So post up your ideas and what not and Ill get to work on making some kick ass maps for Reach.

Ya we can all join a session and make something together...ok that sounded really gay. But yeah we can do something Friday or Saturday. In the mean time get to know that map and come up with some great ideas. I already have one that is going to be kind of like a BF2 style ticket system with the various islands on that map, should turn out pretty cool.

I experimented with closing off the cave -> the island, and making a wrap-around bridge to it. Mine turned out to be a bit resource heavy and a bit screwed up, but I am sure there is an easy way to do this. Could lead to some interesting flag capture battles, if done properly.

I've made a couple, check them out. Just look for FRIGGIN jakt as the author. Forge is all I do in Reach, easy to pause and save. I miss multiplayer...

Map names: Impact Reactor, Boom Box
coming soon: Cluster Forged, Coulee Collide

Maybe we can setup a time and date to test each others maps. Post them if you've got them.
