Some random questions.

Question 1:
Why does madmax have grape in his forum name?

Question 2:
I remember that an admin had changed my name to Lucy Tulip a long time ago because Bong is against the rules of TPG.
Does it matter if my name is Bong now?

Question 3:
When you run into like 3 ppl and they are all looking at you, is it better to just to spray them down or to try and aim at each one?
One thing I've been trying to improve on is to spray less and try to keep reaiming at the person I am shooting at.
Just wondering what the thought process is for you guys when you run into groups of people.

Question 4:
Is there ever really a time to spray at someone rather than aiming?
Only time I truly just spray is with a p90 or a negev.

Well I can't answer the first 2, but regarding 3 and 4; when faced with 3 people that are staring at you, you can probably guarantee you won't be living for very long. What I have found best is to aim at the first guy for the headshot and turn that into a spray. Or if you're not too far out of cover, try hitting one, back up and throw a flash and either try and get them disoriented or run back to your team. Spraying in GO is very inaccurate and really comes down to luck. Your best bet is usually to do burst shots unless you're stuck in that situation previously explained. Someone will probably prove me wrong but that's what I tend to do.

Spraying is actually perfectly fine for any smg other than the UMP. With a weapon that takes more than a headshot to kill and has very little recoil, the spray is perfect. Such as the MP7 that will pretty much be on target for a full spray of the clip

Warning: this post may meander a little; such is the train of thought of a tired mom being pestered by her two year old...

Some weapons like the AK have pretty consistent recoil patterns. If confronted at close enough range, you can pull down on the mouse a little, up to a point, and still maintain pretty accurate fire.

I've always wondered the 1) myself, too, and 2) refers to drug paraphernalia which is pretty much a nono. I can't give the official answer of this of course, because I'm not, um, an official.

3) If they're pretty much the same distance, I guess start at one side and spray em down. Hope to get as many hits as possible. However if they're disparate, I'd recommend starting with the closest and strafing after a burst in the hopes the furthest away adversaries miss. If you can get to cover, run for it!

give some covering fire too. Also, let your team mates know where this bunch are. Chances are that their position is associated with a particular strategy.

2) Rules are rules. That rule is still in place.

3) It's usually better to just aim. Spraying in GO is very sporadic compared to either CS:S or 1.6

4) Hallways, wall spamming, anytime you have an SMG that isn't the UMP, when you have a Neveg, and when some random asshole drops out of nowhere and scares the fuck out of you.

I couldn't agree less. Since the Jan 23rd update too they've been more consistent than ever. Note this doesn't apply to pistols.

Bong is his name. His first name starts with a B, and his last name is Ong, so a combination of that creates Bong. Definitely not an intention of referencing drugs
