Farewell TPG

Hey guys. This might be a little long because I do hold a lot of sentiment for this community and its people, but please bear with me as it is painful for me to write this...

My account's(2) were recently compromised and I can no longer gain access to both of them. I will spare you the details on what happened because I honestly have no idea how my accounts were jacked, but I did use the same password for both of them and so that may have been an issue. Regardless, after not being able to get into my accounts several times I had use the "forgot password" in hopes the password will be sent to my emails, but of no avail. As my last glimmer of hope I had sent multiple steam tickets in hopes I can get my accounts back in working order. I took the liberty of creating a new account and looked for myself in the steam community just to see if they were still okay, and the bad news came crashing down my world like a meteor hit my house, actually the feeling was probably worse...my accounts were VAC'ed.

I just want to take this section to clarify to everyone here in TPG that I have never hacked/cheated/ghosted or did any sort of behavior that would lead to this VAC. In my 10+ years of gaming starting from CS 1.4 all the way to CS:GO. I have never cheated once. I can proudly and say that and I know a couple players here will still doubt me to this day, but as someone who has shown love for this community and for its people I would never lie or do anything that invites distrust.

I understand that even if i get my accounts back (if I ever do) TPG has a zero tolerance policy for people who have been VAC'ed, and I am no exception. It is an incredibly sad moment for me to leave TPG grounds in such a terrible note. I should have been more secure about my accounts, but I really did not expect myself to be hacked on steam. I have been hacked before on other games (S4 League..GunZ...), but I guess I was naive to think that my steam accounts were bullet proof. It's is no ones fault but mine, to allow myself to be put in a situation like this where I am forced to leave TPG early and on such a terrible way.

Having the opportunity to play with many of you people in multiple games ranging from CS:S to L4D2 to Borderlands 2. I am happy to have met every single one of you. I know there was a lot of stupid drama that happened throughout the course of my 3 years here, and most of it I definitely regret, but I would never forget the moments I spent here on TPG. The community here was amazing and I just wished I could have been a part of it until the day I was unable to play games anymore.

I hope with my departure that you people still continue to be the stellar people that you are. I know I was never an ideal TPG member, but I was definitely one of most passionate ones. Everything that TPG stood for I held in high regard, (never banned!) and I hope that the people in this community do not take this place for granted. You don't realize how much your going to miss something until you actually lose it, and I have NEVER thought i was going to lose TPG until today....

Lastly, I just want to say my farewells to everyone, I am definitely going to miss every single one of you guys, I can't list them everyones name out because that will take forever, but I will mention more specifically to those who have made my days here in TPG one hell of a ride. Vafa, your the one who invited me into this community, and I'm glad that you did. You have been an amazing mentor to me and someone who I will consider as family until the end of my days. Blonde, You were my closest friend and someone who I will always consider a brother. Despite our stupid arguments and friendly insults, you have always shown nothing but companionship for me, and for that I thank you. Rad! , you have always been the guy I could always vent about anything and you would totally relate. Poking fun at each other and other players has always been hilarious and I hope that you continue to stay as awesome as you are now

tCz...You guys have been family to me ever since I joined back in the summer of 2012. You guys took someone like me who had a bad image and showed brotherhood to me like no one else. I won't list out everyone out in tCz because everyone should know who they are, but they are the best group of guys you will ever meet. They have always been supportive and has shown to me what it means to be like family through an online community. I will miss them greatly but I hope to stay in contact with every single one of you after my exile...

I thank everyone here once again for the experience and the community you have given me. This whole thing took me a while to write because it is truly from the heart (yeah i know sounds cheesy but just bear with me) I am upset with myself for not taking care of my accounts, but the only thing left I can do is start a new chapter in my life where games are no longer part of it. I wish everyone much the best of luck in their future endeavors.

Farewell TPG, I have definitely enjoyed every single moment of my time here and I hope that you have enjoyed me...

...Man, I can't even fathom what that must feel like. I never talked much with you but the times I played CS on TPG you were always awesome. Best of luck man, keep your chin up.

wo That really sucks. You were always a great player and I loved playing with and against you. TPG just lost a really great member in its community

Gonna miss you, man.

Everyone else should take note, if you do not have Steam Guard enabled, you need to be sure to do so. Like now....stop reading and go do it! And make sure your email password is different from your steam password.
